“I just finished a book I really love called Wild (by Cheryl Strayed), which is a non-fiction memoir of this woman’s story. There are so many male stories that are about finding one’s self, it was wonderful to read a story with a strong female voice.”

“I love swimming. I grew up in the forest in Canada, it’s like cottage country. My back yard was this beautiful lake. Every morning in the summer, I would wake up and swim. That’s such a huge part of who I am too, swimming and being in nature.”
“I figure skated for fifteen years, from age three to eighteen, and I played sports my whole life, so I’m someone who can’t sit still for too long. I always have to be busying myself with something. Every day I make time to do something active. And that’s the great thing about being in LA, there are so many fantastic hiking places up in the hills.”
